Nicole Girkey
As one of the main "Go To" people at High Performance Prose (HPP), Nicole
Girkey is a key employee. She makes the trains run
on time. She is the primary point of contact for clients.
She manages the HPP team, and she makes sure everything is
being done to meet and exceed clients' expectations. Good
thing Nicole is the epitome of grace under pressure!
Nicole also spends a considerable amount of time keeping
up with the hottest new publications, websites and radio and
TV shows, as well as seeking out breaking news and trends.
She's always quick to find a news angle that enables HPP to
promote its clients in a beneficial way.
Nicole brings a diverse background to HPP. She has worked
in several different public relations fields, including
automotive, entertainment, hospitality, technology,
politics, health and beauty, and even bankruptcy. Over the
years, she has worked with such clients as Boyd Gaming,
BorgWarner Turbo Systems, Wax Poetic, Touchstone Energy, The
Petersen Automotive Museum, Petersen Aviation, Vanguarde
Media, SEMA (the Specialty Equipment Market Association),
Merck-Medco Pharmaceuticals, Royal Purple, Bismuth Cartridge
Co., eBay Motors, Kruse International, Mr. Carroll Shelby,
Carroll Shelby Licensing, John Hancock and American
Broadcasting Corp. (ABC). She also has worked on various
presidential campaigns for Bolivia and Venezuela.
Prior to joining the world of public relations, Nicole's
love of television and music dictated her career choices.
She booked guests for MSNBC's daytime programming. She was a
TV news producer, reporter and editor for the ABC station in
Waco, TX. And she even did a stint as a disc jockey for a
country western radio station.
Nicole holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications
from Baylor University. She is a member of Kappa Delta
sorority and has participated in such events as Miss Texas
USA and Miss Teenage California. She also has a passion for
martial arts, cars and sports, especially golf, and in her
younger years played on two traveling tours.
